The Mayflies have been pushing the outer limits of jam rock and bluegrass in the greater Midwest region and Colorado since 2001. Their live shows are rife with hot banjo pickin', stellar 3 part vocal harmonies, driving, funky drums and bass, and blustery psychedelic electric guitar work. “Patchwork Story” (releasing independently August, 2006) is Andra Suchy’s debut solo CD, although she has been performing, writing and recording in Minneapolis since 1996. Her recording credits include Soul Asylum’s “The Silver Lining,” The Honeydogs, “10,000 Years” and “Amygdala” among others. She has shared the stage with such artists as The Honeydogs, Dave Pirner, Jonny Lang,Chuck Suchy (her father), Ben Suchy (her brother), Tina Schlieske, Peter Ostroushko, and Jeff Healy to name a few.
